Welcome baby number three! This little baby girl was only a week old and was so easy to photograph. You may remember her mom Aimee from "She Glows", a session I had back in February. Like mother, like daughter, both are model material.

Welcome Spring

Finally warmth. Spring has arrived. After one long winter of hibernation, I happily embrace our first season.

So, I thought I'd get on board and springify myself with a fresher look. As a designer, I am always playing around with the latest and greatest trends, software, techniques, you name it. At times my career seems more like a hobby than a real job. I LOVE it.

I am also working on some new pictures of newborns and pet photography that I am really excited about and will post soon.

Let him eat cake

So Sunday we celebrated my nephew's 1st birthday. Friends and family gathered to rejoice as the little guy graduated from baby to toddler.

As that 8 inch white-frosted cake was laid before him, what happened next was kinda like watching a movie in slow-mo. Arms extend outwards, he turned left to his mother and smiles as if to say "could this be real?!" He turned to his right, big open mouth smile to his dad. {zoom in on glistening drool} His eyes, moist from tears of delight, focused back on the cake. And with one swift solid motion his little hand broke into the sweet fluffy icing and brought as much into his mouth as he could.

It was a good cake.
